Settings

Flipper Zero's Settings menu allows you to control Bluetooth, volume, vibration, and screen brightness. It also provides a way to enable debugging options, set up logging, and more. The Settings Menu is located inside the Main Menu. You can read about accessing the Main Menu in the Control section.
Flipper Zero can connect to your smartphone and communicate with the Flipper Mobile app via Bluetooth Low Energy. The Mobile app allows you to update firmware, sync items and keys to your phone, and control Flipper Zero.

Bluetooth settings:
- Bluetooth ON/OFF — enables Bluetooth LE advertising making the device discoverable and available for connection.
- Forget All Paired Devices — deletes connected devices, all previously connected devices will need to be paired again.
The Bluetooth status icon is displayed on the status bar on the Desktop. It shows the connection state.

Bluetooth states:
- Bluetooth OFF — the status bar icon is not present.
- Bluetooth ON — when a simple Bluetooth icon is displayed, the device is discoverable and ready for a connection.
- Device Connected — when a Bluetooth icon with a circle is displayed, the device is connected to something.
In the LCD and Notifications section, you can control the display and status LED brightness, sound and vibro notifications.

LCD and Notifications options:
- LCD Backlight — adjusts the brightness of the orange screen backlight.
- Backlight Time — turns the backlight off after a set period of inactivity.
- LED Brightness — adjusts the brightness of the notification LED on the front panel.
- Volume — adjusts the volume of the internal speaker.
- Vibro — enables or disables the internal vibration motor.
The LCD Backlight section controls the brightness of the orange display backlight. Brightness can be adjusted by clicking :left:LEFT and :right:RIGHT.
In the Storage menu you can unmount the microSD card, format it, run a benchmark to determine the performance of the card, and see the amount of used/free space.

Storage Menu options:
- About Internal Storage — information about Flipper Zero's internal Flash storage.
- About SD Card — information about the microSD card.
- Unmount SD Card — unmounts the microSD card's file system, which is needed to safely eject the microSD card.
- Format SD Card — deletes all data on microSD card and formats its filesystem to FAT32.
- Benchmark — measures the microSD card read/write speed via the SPI interface.
- Factory Reset — revert all the Flipper Zero settings to their default state, this erases the dolphin state and removes all paired Bluetooth devices.
The microSD card is required for both installing firmware updates and access all the features of Flipper Zero. To install the microSD card, refer to Configuring the SD card section.
In the Power tab, you can access the battery info, reboot your device, and power it off.

Power controls:
- Battery info — information about the battery state and power consumption of Flipper Zero. Read more in the Power section
- Reboot — reboots the device, which can also be invoked by using the :left:LEFT + :back:BACK key combo. Оther ways to reboot are described in the Reboot section
- Power OFF — turns the device OFF
In the Desktop section, you can change the parameters of Flipper Zero's main screen, the one where the dolphin lives.

Desktop settings:
- The Favorite App feature allows you to set any app for quick access from the Desktop. For example, you can set the NFC app as a favorite, and now you won't need to look for it in the Main Menu each time you want to read a card. Pressing the :left:LEFT button while on the Desktop launches the Favorite App.
- PIN Setup controls the lock options set using the Lock with PIN option from the Lock Menu. Here you can change the PIN code or disable it completely.
- Auto Lock Time sets the timer to automatically lock Flipper Zero's keypad after a set amount of time.
Shows the profile of the dolphin that lives inside Flipper Zero — its unique name, level of experience and mood. The mood depends on how often you utilize your device's functions.

You can control the log verbosity by setting the appropriate Log Level. Logs can be found in the system console. The Debug Mode ON/OFF option activates the debug mode adding Debug Tools to the Main Menu. The debug menu has a number of system apps used when testing the device and it's hidden by default.

Log Levels are cumulative, i.e. every subsequent level includes all messages from previous levels:
Default — corresponds to Info.
- None — logging is turned off.
- Error — only errors are logged.
- Warning — errors and warnings are logged.
- Info — errors, warnings, and info messages are logged.
- Debug — adds debug messages.
- Trace — adds tracing information from various subsystems, which in some cases may slow down your device.
This section contains information about device and the manufacturer, such as the Hardware and Firmware versions, certificates, FCC ID, etc. This information might be needed for legal compliance and customs clearance.
